I am sitting here with a big ass glass of water (my drink of choice for everyday living) and no pants, of course.

It’s 1:30 in the morning and the house is quiet. I am currently living with a baby who is almost 2 years old and a pregnant woman whom I thought I knew a few months back. She still looks like the woman I moved here to be with, but someone has stolen some crucial things from her. Things like, a sense of humor and patience. I know it will pass. In the mean time I lose hair. Slowly, oh so slowly, I see my hair moving back away from my forehead. I can now honestly call it an eight-head.

On another note I am watching a 10 part series on the History of Rock-n-Roll. It’s…rockin’. I have yet to see anything about the Rutles though. More on that later.

In my travels today I discovered the video for Eminem’s song, “Mosh.” I am not the biggest fan..but damn…isn’t he the greatest shit-disturber of our day? I like him for that. I like that he likes to stir it up. Amazing…absolutely amazing. It’s about time someone made something that appeals to the youngest voting generation…something with a message. Damn. That video made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Wow….The power of words, music and visual imagery is huge. I am still feeling it. Why doesn’t more rap and hip-hop get political, get real? It should. It’s such an angry and powerful genre. Rather than boobs, money and bitches it should be more about George, Dick and Donny. It should be about the plight of our inner-cities. It should be about the rallying people who feel they have no say.  View Mosh yourself.  Warning though. The broadband version is great to watch, but man it’s a big file. I suggest you try the dial-up version first. . This is the kind of stuff I think is worth saving. If you watch it, tell me what you think. I really want to know
