I am a skeptic. I like to believe that everything is explainable.Deb and I tried a little test. Guess what the other person drew, without seeing. 4 colors (red, blue, black, green). 4 shapes (triangle, circle, star, heart)
try 1: Deb tries to guess what I drew. Doesn’t get anything.
try 2: I get exactly what Deb drew but [...]

I passed over into the living room to find my three girls sleeping soundly. It was heart warming. There is nothing more beautiful than your wife and kids sleeping quietly while you watch a movie on your Macbook and drink beer. Tis the season. I had to make a post before this site started growing mold.Movies [...]

I joined Facebook awhile back. I found that no-one my age has a Facebook account. Had I been born in 1989, instead of graduated in 1989, I would have been ‘Mr Cool’. But the fact that I joined Facebook at my age made me question not only my use of time, [...]

Well, we’re pretty much done taking everything over to Deb’s Mom’s house. Most of our stuff is sitting in the garage.
I am doing my best to be positive. I am doing my best to stay focused on the most important tasks, Norwegian and Teaching. It is not easy at all.

Natalie, although only 2 years 8 months, has always seemed a little ahead of the pack.. I could be wrong. I could just be high on whole wheat rolls. But there is a slim chance that I am right. She knows colors, numbers and some letters (in two languages). She holds a pen the right [...]

Change comes gradually. That’s why I often don’t notice the little things that are different in the people I am around all the time..
Last night, while I was making some food, Natalie stood on the counter and talked with me. She commented on plates and bowls, vitamins and how bad knives are (they’re ‘masse [...]

I have the freakin’ house to myself. I mention this simply because I NEVER have the house to myself. So I am sitting here drinking a few glasses of red wine, contemplating… actually I am just sitting here. I am not quite sure what I am contemplating.
There’s something about having the silence that makes [...]

So, in my last post, I said I was going skiing. I thought about it everyday. I have been skiing since I was a child. I have skied on multiple continents. Skiing was a way of life for me for a long time. Then… I moved out, moved on and went my way. I never [...]

Well I haven’t posted in some time now.. I’m still here. It’s just been that blogging has had to take a step aside so I can accomplish some pretty important things and still retain my sanity. Between 35-40 hours of language school and working in a Norwegian high school, plus being sick, everyone in the [...]

Just like everything in life, as you do it it becomes easier. Well, maybe not easier, but maybe easier to manage. Right now, I see this family become more of a funcioning unit again. Deb’s not pregant anymore and Natalie is learning her roll as a big sister. Things feel like they are running much [...]
