try 1: Deb tries to guess what I drew. Doesn’t get anything.

try 2: I get exactly what Deb drew but have one color wrong.

try 3: Natalie (our daughter) draws a red heart. Deb then guesses a red heart.

try 4: Natalie draws a green circle. Draws a green circle.

try 5: Natalie draws a green square. Deb draws a green square! Now, if you didn’t notice, there was no square for choices. That was fucking freaky. Gotta love the Mother/Daughter connection.

I woke up a 6 am this morning and scooted down the stairs to get my morning wake-up juice. Deb was sleeping on the couch (it was still dark and I didn’t notice she wasn’t in bed). She awoke, as I approached, and gave me the ‘I am really-fucking-sick-look. ‘ The kids weren’t all that great either. For once, ladies and gentlemen, I am the one who isn’t sick. Last year, the first year teaching here, I was hit with shit I never heard of before.

Well, I downloaded Radiohead’s new album and am not in any way disappointed. If you haven’t heard, Radiohead is offering a download of their new album for whatever price you want to pay, including zero. ( hoe much do you think I paid?) ) No DRM, no tricks. Fucking brilliant. There is so much writing about it on the internet tubes. See for yourself.

BTW: I am listening to In Rainbows now and am enjoying the first listen.

It’s 1:30 in the morning and the house is quiet. I am currently living with a baby who is almost 2 years old and a pregnant woman whom I thought I knew a few months back. She still looks like the woman I moved here to be with, but someone has stolen some crucial things from her. Things like, a sense of humor and patience. I know it will pass. In the mean time I lose hair. Slowly, oh so slowly, I see my hair moving back away from my forehead. I can now honestly call it an eight-head.

On another note I am watching a 10 part series on the History of Rock-n-Roll. It’s…rockin’. I have yet to see anything about the Rutles though. More on that later.
