Nothing wrong with cynicism, it’s a mark of intelligence and ability to think on one’s own. Most of my Euro friends are incredibly cynical, but then again, they’ve had thousands of years of bullshit to sift through historically. The US, at most, is a pre-pubescent teenager trying to decide if God exists. We haven’t reach critical mass as far as cynicism goes. Give us time.

My friends in Sweden spend the entire month of January in Miami. I suggest you do the same.

Cynicism is entirely too positive a concept in the post-post-modern age. Only liberals and poofters of failed policies of the past still adhere to the optimism that cynicism affords those who will one day stand trial for the crimes they committed over the past six decades and hang by the pubes until the stank wears off.

The best thing that could happen right now is for Biraq to denounce Christianity, convert to Islam, and spend the first 100 days dismantling the theocratic shithole that Americans have happily wallowed in since the Reagan error (no pun intended). Round up the neocons and evangicals and prolifers and Schiavo-Schindlerists and give them free disinfecting showers.

I still see no reason to stop working toward bringing on the bomb. When I get one, you bet your sweet bippy, I know where I’m gonna use it. Charity begins at home.

I am happy to see Obama, but remain a cycnic. Aren’t we all? We have been promised so many changes in the past.

I have thought about it. I think most of my writing needs to be thought about for a long time before I try. What I have noticed is that I am too busy thinking about so many other things that, when it comes to composing, I am at a loss.

I do need the sun lamp, sadly. The darkness here does have a way of depressing me. I eat more and drink more.
