Fear
I fear that the election will be stolen by McCain.
I fear the world is going in the wrong direction.
I fear that the world will be so polluted for my children that it will be unlivable.
I fear that robots are stealing my luggage.
I fear a large war is brewing.
I fear that I may be right about my fears.

The only thing you need to fear is the past. The future is coming whether you fear it or not. The mushrooms are popping out of the gravel. Shaggy manes and chanterelles. Blewitts and matsusake. I fear I will not be able to savor them all before I am full.

Nah, Obama’s got it in the bag. I swear! He’s leading the polls in Indiana for Christ’s sake! INDIANA!!! You remember Indiana??? Yesterday, someone shouted “he’s a nigger” at a Palin rally … it’s just plain ugly to be a republican these days.
