I am sitting here trying to kill time before the Joe Biden, Sarah Palin debate. I really wish that it was on a little earlier. Waiting until 3am to see a political debate is painful. If it was a football or hockey game I could understand.
I am thinking about getting a dog. I think 5 years is long enough between the last. The problem is I am not sure I can go through losing one again. I have been debating getting another labrador, but I know there are lots of mixed pups and older dogs who need homes too. The selling point for me will be how it will all work for the kids.
Dog lover? I thought so. I buried a dog in 1969 and said no more. Since then I’ve only had cats, most of them finding me and moving on, although one lasted 19 years and was holding on with all four when she finally died.
It hurt me worse than pulling the plug on my old man. He was an asshole. The cat was beautiful.
