Discopants and Haircuts

I had been stuck in the house with 16 days of rain. I turned on the TV and decided to fill my brain with its yummy goodness. Flipping between European Porn channels I came upon the History/Discovery/Crime/Geographic Channel… whatever the hell it was.

There was some story about all the riots and fighting, in the US, during the Vietnam War. I started to think:

1. Why is there not ONE anti-war song on the radio anywhere? If there is.. it must not be too good.

2. Why can’t we see the coffins of our war dead on TV?

3. Why are there no riots and MASS demonstrations happening on a regular basis? If there is, why don’t we see mass coverage of it?

4. Why have we lost so much? Why doesn’t anyone seem to want to do anything about it?

5. What ever happened to… ‘by the people for the people’?

I swear, I could go on-and-on everyday. I choose to vent constructively. Find the simplest of it all.

There is a serious problem. We have a government that has learned. It has learned how to manipulate the people and grease its pockets at the same time. The people have become placid.. They are easily distracted and demoralized. I swear we need a revolution. I hate to say it, but people need to embrace a desire to change, for the better, the government, themselves… They need to set aside what they have been programmed to want. They need to rely on each other and make a movement work.

Personally… I don’t think it will happen.

I have lost my mind. 16 days of straight, constant (give or take a moment or two) rain. Rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain!!! AHHHHHHHGGGGGGGG!!! HA HA HA HA!!!!!!

I have never in my life seen so much. Part of a road washed away, crops have been lost… mass hysteria!!!
