One Million

“I have one million things to say everyday. I also have 1 million reasons to hide everyday. ”
I also fight myself everyday (for whatever reason) about writing. I swear to all of you… I have so much to say. I simply am in a battle with myself. So far.. myself is winning. That sucks.
Today:
It was the 17th of May today. Now, that may not mean so much to the lot of you.. but to Norwegians it is Constitution Day. Everyone dresses up in traditional Norwegian attire. Everyone waves the flag. Everyone spends time together. Just like the 4th of July…
The 17th of May is a kids’ day. No drinking, unless you are graduating this year. It’s all about having fun with the kids. There are parades, ice cream, music and singing. Everyone is in their best clothes. It’s a sweet time for the kids. We had a good time today.

May 16th has always been my key remembrance day. Forty years ago, on that day, on a hill named only with a number, a few of my best friends died to make the world safe for investors.
Granted, this was not a new strategy by the NOMF, and it didn’t really change my world view at all, but it did give me one day a year that was mine.
Poo-tee-weet. Poo-tee-weet.

Well, I wrote 5 different things and then erased them. They ranged from funny, to sad, sympathetic to… this. I hope that you, Pet Food Secret Shopper, had the day you wanted on the 16th.
